Transcriber's Notes:
A question mark (?) indicates a letter or a number that can not be transcribed definitely.
An asterisk (*) indicates either difficulty in deciphering the handwriting of the manifest
or something in the Transcriber's Notes to which the reader should refer.
A caret (^) indicates that the following letter in a word or name is superscripted.
The transcriber numbers the passengers consecutively, even though they are not numbered
in the original manifest.
The recorder of the manifest often abbreviates a passenger's Occupation, such as Mercht"
for "Merchant", "Inft" for Infant, "Spins^r" for Spinster and "Lab^r" for Laborer.
The entry "United States" in the native country and destination country columns is shortened
to "U. States" for formatting reasons.
1 Surname is not carefully written and cannot be deciphered with certainty, but name is
possibly "Morse", "Moore" or "Mooss".
7-11 Surname is not carefully written and cannot be deciphered. The first letter is "M",
but the following three to five letters cannot be deciphered.
12-14 Damage to the manifest obscures these passengers names.
24 Last part of surname is poorly written and cannot be deciphered.
32 Surname appears to be written as "McGanan", "McGaran" or "McGavan", but might possibly
be "McGannon" or "McGavin".
35 Surname is either "Nier" or "Vier".
42 Given name is not carefully written and cannot be deciphered with certainty, but name
is possibly "Catin".
48 Surname is possibly "Wade" or "Laum".
49 Surname appears to be written as "Woflgesmyer", but might possibly be "Wolfgesmyer".
52-55 Surname appears to be either "Schalmeister" or "Scholmeister".
60 Surname is not carefully written and cannot be deciphered with certainty, but name
appears to be written as "Niewerehelina".
