Transcriber's Notes:

* An asterisk indicates an error on the part of the original recorder, not the
transcriber, or is used to call your attention to additional information in the
   Transcriber's Notes below.

? The use of a ? indicates a word or letters that could not be read due to quality of
   the original document.

^ The use of a ^ indicates that the letter/letters following are superscripted.

The transcription preserves the original spelling; often times the Destination is miswritten
but identifiable.

Although the handwriting of this manifest was fairly clear in the recording of passengers'
names and age, the columns for Occupation, Country of Origin, and Country of Destination
were very difficult to read; illegible words are indicated with ? and no attempt has been
made to correctly identify the scribe's intent as anything would be simply a guess.
Additional research should be undertaken to confirm findings.

The manifest scribe did not number the passengers; the numbers have been added by the
transcriber.

All ditto marks on the original manifest have been replaced with the actual words
indicated.

The manifest scribe used a Germanic letter resembling 'fs'; to aid in reading, these have
been transcribed to 'ss'.

17 Destination omitted.
25 Superscripted letter in first name illegible.
27 Occupation as written.
40 1st letter of first name not clear, could be Guinton or Quinton.
46 Last letter of first name illegible.
49 2nd and 4th letters of surname not clear, could be Leng, Ling, Lenz, or Linz.
55 4th letter of surname not clear, could be Fracy.
56 3rd/4th letters of surname obscured by lower extension of letter 'y'
in surname above, 3rd letter may be 'i'.
69-72 Ending of surname not clear, could be Mason or Marin.
87 Superscripted letter in first name faded away.
92 1st letter of surname not clear, could be Melin or Welin.
99 2nd letter of surname not clear, could be Gallaher or Gullaher.
