Transcriber's Notes:
The handwriting of the original recorder is very hard to read. Quite often all letters
at the end of the word are just one line and it is impossible to determine how many
letters should be there. Therefore one ? is not necessarily one missing letter. There
is also no consistency in how the letters are written. The manifest is not in very good
shape, very dark in places, names cannot be read completely.
All passengers show the age and gender. Only the first passenger on each page shows the
occupation, etc. There are no ditto marks to show that it is the same for all other
passengers. The occupation is shown as Farmer, the originating country as Germany,
destination U. St (United States).
No deaths were recorded on this voyage, therefore this coloumn was omitted.
* An asterisk indicates an error on the part of the original recorder, not the
transcriber, or is used to call your attention to additional information in
the transcriber's notes.
? Indicates a letter or number which could not be determined due to the condition
of the manifest or handwriting of the original recorder.
^ A ^ followed by a letter indicates that the letter was superscripted.
* Names were transcribed as seen regardless of spelling.
1: Occupation: Farmer, country of origin: Germany, destination: United States.
16: the missing letter could be l or t for Egglen or Eggten.

84: all information was cut off when the manifest was copied.

141 - 151: the last name could be Eick.
