Transcriber's Personal Notes:
Passengers 49-64, 67 -- Members of the Eberlein, Anacker, and Kleimenhagen
families, ancestors of Skip Murray, came from Herrenbreitungen, Germany to
the United States on this ship, settling in Columbia Co., Wisconsin, near
the ancestors of the transcriber of this donated ship. Marie Sabine
Anacker (51), whose maiden name is Eberlein, is the cousin of Johann
Christoph Eberlein (56), their fathers being brothers who remained in
Germany. Gustav Anacker (50) is the husband of Marie Sabine Anacker (51),
and 52-55 are their 4 children. Johann Christoph Eberlein (56), whose
mother's maiden name was Kleimenhagen, traveled with his wife, Catherine
Elisabeth Eberlein (nee Frebel) (57) and 7 children (58-64). Of these
children, Anna Dorethea Lutine Eberlein (61) is the great great
grandmother of Skip Murray. This family had lost 2 children in Germany,
and the mother, Catherine Elisabeth Eberlein (57), was pregnant with twins
during this voyage. In addition to the twins, 2 other children were born
to the couple in Wisconsin. Catherine Margaretha Kleimenhagen (49), who
is probably related, traveled with the family to Wisconsin. Casper
Eberlein (67), who is possibly related, went to New York instead of
Wisconsin.
