Transcriber's Notes:
* An asterisk indicates an error on the part of the original recorder, not the
transcriber, or is used to call your attention to additional information in the
Transcriber's Notes below.
? The use of a ? indicates a word or letters that could not be read due to quality
of the original document.
^ The use of a ^ indicates that the letter/letters following are superscripted.
The transcription preserves the original spelling.
All ditto marks on the original manifest have been replaced with the actual words
indicated.
The manifest did not include psgr #s; they have been added by the transcriber.
The manifest scribe used a Germanic letter resembling 'fs'; to aid in reading, these
have been transcribed to ss.
In the captain's sworn statement, the end of the name of the city from which the
ship traveled is illegible because of ink blot, is Liverpool.
Center number(s) of burthen weight are illegible because of lower extension of the
letter 'g' from the ship's name in the line above.
This manifest was difficult to read because of penmanship; further genealogical
research should be done.
3 4th letter of surname is illegible because of lower extension of the letter 'y'
from previous psgr's name above.
12 Sex originally entered as Female.
30 First letter of surname illegible because of lower extension of the letter 'y'
from the psgr's name above; 2nd letter is not clear enough to decipher; end of
surname is probably 'ush'.
51-54 Final letters of surname squeezed together, illegible.
69 Surname is partially illegible because of handwriting, appears to end with a
letter that extends above the line with the remaining letters at mid-line.
89 First letter of surname illegible because of lower extension of the letter 'g'
from the psgr's name above; third letter could be 'l'.
106 Sex omitted.
