(Signed) ?ed ? Corinth Transcriber's Notes: * Psgrs were not numbered on the manifest; the numbers have been added by the transcriber. * Psgrs. 190-233 have been crossed out; in order to preserve the integrity of the manifest transcription, the information for these psgrs is incomplete and is included without comment; they are duplicates and can be found elsewhere on the manifest. * The manifest scribe often used vertical lines through various columns to indicate continuation of the Sex, Origination, Destination. These lines have been replaced with the corresponding information. * The vertical lines in the Occupation column appear to indicate No Occupation. The manifest scribe also used an underscore to indicate No Occupation. These lines have been removed and the space left blank. * The manifest scribe often abbreviated a psgr's first name; this has been duplicated with the use of the ^ to indicate the postion of the letters omitted. For instance, Mich^l appears on the manifest as 'Mich' with the 'l' superscripted and usually with a line drawn under the 'l'. * The manifest scribe often used a ditto mark to indicate duplication of surname or occupation. These ditto marks have been replaced with the corresponding information. * The Died on the Voyage column is very blurred (appears to be a microfilm camera lens blur) on Pages 8 through 11, 14, and 17 (psgr #s 344-549, 653-702, 801-849); it is impossible to determine if any information was written in this column. * The manifest scribe entered age in years only for psgrs. from the age of 1y. * The manifest scribe omitted age and occupation for thos psgrs identified as Infants; occasionally the scribe did enter the Sex. * Misspelled words are recreated as written on the manifest. * The common Occupation 'DServant' or 'DS' has been interpreted as 'Domestic Servant'. 670 First letter of surname is not clear, could be Hilbride or Kilbride. 678 Tear in paper: 2nd and last letters of first name are not clear, probably Bridg^t. 678-680 Tear in paper; 1st and last letters of surname are illegible. 689 Last letter of surname not clear, could be Nevell or Nevele. 707-708 'X' written after psgrs' surname. 797 'X' written after psgr's surname. 828 First name omitted. 837-849 Because of blur in Destination column, it is not possible to determine if a destination other than California had been noted. There does not appear to be any other writing in this column. 841 'X' written after psgr's surname. 867 Last letter of surname is not clear, could be Sog or Soy. 884 'X' written after psgr's surname; there is a very light and illegible word written after the surname. 905 Sex may be female (see psgr's first name). 909-910 Sex omitted. 916 3rd letter of surname is not clear, could be Daglish or Daylish. 928 'X' written after psgr's surname. 947 Last letter of surname is not clear, could be Ferrale, Ferrall, or Ferrell; sex omitted. 948-970 Sex omitted. 960 6th letter of surname is not clear, could be Spirant or Spirart.
