The Captain's statement, the Captain's name and the coloumn headers are missing.
The gender, occupation and place of origin are in German, see translations below.
A lot of the names of place of destination was spelled as pronounced in German, see
corrections below.
There where 2 more voyages of the Bark Copernicus in 1855, both from Hamburg to
New York. One arrived on February 13, 1855, the other one on Oct. 15, 1855. H. Meyer was
the captain on both of these voyages, therefore one can assume that he was captain
for the voyage in June 1855 as well.
At the top of every page is a note "none died".
The ages of young children were written with fractions (1 1/2). This was changed to
years and months by the transcriber according to ISTG rules.

Schleswig is the Capital City of Schleswig Holstein.
Konigsberg is spelled with u Umlaut. There are several town with this name in Germany,
it might be the one in Brandenburg.
Lubeck is spelled with u Umlaut. Lubeck is also a city in Schleswig Holstein, close
to the Baltic Sea, on the boarder to Mecklenburg.
