S. Columbia at Glasgow, from which port said S. S. has now arrived; and that on said list is truly designated the age, the sex, and the occupation of each of said passengers, the part of the vessel occupied by each during the passage, the country to which each belongs, and also the country of which it is intended by each to become an inhabitant; and that said List or Manifest truly sets forth the number of said passengers who have died on said voyage and the names and ages of those who died. So help me God. (signed) James Dumbreck

Transcriber's Notes:
A question mark (?) is used to show letter/letters which could not be read because
of the quality of the document. Where possible a suggestion of what this might be
is given in the transcriber's notes.
An asterisk (*) is used to show those items which are further explained in the
transcriber's notes.
The column, "Died on voyage" was not included in this transcription as there was
only one death, that of Passenger #6, Jane Young, which was explained in the
transcriber's notes.
Also, the column, "Part of the vessel occupied during the voyage" has been eliminated.
Most of the passengers are listed as Steerage; however, passengers #57 to 64 at the
end are are listed separately and the numbering begins at 1. These are probably cabin
passengers. The original lister also did not fill in the Column, "Country to which it
is intended to become an inhabitant".
6 Jane Young is the sole death on this voyage. See the Captain's note at the end of
the transcription.
12&13 This surname is difficult to read because it is scrawled. Possibilities:
Hannan, Heuman. Given name of 13 is Eliza, Elisa
18 Surname: Sinclair, Sinclan, Sinclar
26 Surname: It appears that lister's pen ran dry. A curved line is above the line,
perhaps could be a "C"? or is the name Paterson?
38 This person appears to be of German extraction. Surname possibilities: Cyper,
Eyper.
43 Surname: Miller or Milles. Possibly she is traveling with 44, which is clearly
Miller.
64 Surname: Monnt, Mount
National Archives and Records Administration, Film M237, Reel 323, List 26.
