DISTRICT OF NEW YORK - PORT OF NEW YORK
I, Jos J Comstock do solemnly, sincerely and truly swear that the following list or manifest of passengers, subscribed with my name and now delivered by me to the Collector of the Customs for the District of New York, contains to the best of my knowledge and belief, a just and true account of all the Passengers received on board the U.S.M.S.S. Baltic whereof I am Master, from Liverpool to New York. So help me God. Jos J. Comstock.

 23  Occupation is unclear, possibly means European Consel?  Same occupation as passenger #49.
 25  Passenger has a cross in the space following his name.
 26  Occupation is probably Clerk, but Captain dotted the middle letter.
 34  Lady is also written in the months column.
 44  Age, occupation, and country columns are blank.
 45  Age, occupation, and country columns are blank.
 49  Occupation is unclear, possibly means European Consel? Same occupation as passenger #23.
 55  Name of servant is blank.
 78  Writer of manifest misspelled Sweden.
 80  Surname is possibly Waldo.
 89  No more information. 
 90  No more information.
 91  Surname is possibly Dadweind, Dudweind, Ondweind, Oudweind, Gudweind, Indweind, 
      or Iudweind.  First name appears to say Jitta or Jetta.
 92  The middle letters are hard to read, possibly Hutton.
 94  Surname is all midline, possibly Kess??, Kem??, or Ken??.  The last letters are 
      intertwined with the y from the surname above and cannot be read.
100  Following the S in the occupation there is a low mark, probably says Sea Captain.
