The use of a ? indicates a word or letters that could not be read due to quality of the original document. ^ The use of a ^ indicates that the letter/letters following are superscripted. The transcription preserves the original spelling. This manifest was difficult to read because of poor handwriting and bleeding of ink into the manifest paper. Further research should be completed to confirm findings. All ditto marks on the original manifest have been replaced with the actual words indicated. The manifest scribe used long vertical lines to probably indicate continuation of the last written word(s). These lines have been replaced with the actual word/words indicated. The manifest did not include psgr #s; they have been added by the transcriber. The manifest scribe used a Germanic letter resembling 'fs'; to aid in reading, these have been transcribed to 'ss'. Much of the handwritten entries on the ship's testimonial is illegible; based on other voyages by this ship with this Captain in command, this transcriber believes the captain's name is Neil Shannon. 2 Ending of surname not clear, could be Corntur or Corntus. 6 Age illegible, less than 10yrs old. 21 First 2 letters of surname not clear, could be Kearney. 22 5th and 6th letters of surname not clear, could be Derhorne. 24 Center letters of surname not clear, could be Cunningham. 27 End of surname illegible. 29 End of surname illegible. 30 2nd and 3rd letters of surname illegible. 32 End of surname illegible. 33 2nd number of Age illegible, could be 40y. 40 1st name may be miswritten Mary. 43 Ending of surname illegible. 49 2nd and 3rd letters of first name illegible.
