I, F. Meyerdirck, do solemnly,sincerely and truly swear, that the within
list,
subscribed with my name, contains to the best of my knowledge and belief, a
just and true account or report of all passengers, who have been taken on
board the Adolphine at Bremen or at any other foreign port, or at sea, and
brought in said ship into any district of the United States, since the
departure
from said Port of Bremen

The scribe's spelling of place names in America is interesting. One can only speculate
that Gumberland should be Cumberland; Birklon perhaps Brooklyn; Wiling--Wheeling, etc.
2 Schutte has an umlauted "u" so may be Schuette.
22 Hummer has an umlauted "u" so may be Huemmer.
25 Bose has an umlauted "o" so may be Boese.
30 Schafer has an umlauted "a" so may be Schaefer.
47 Schaumloffel has an umlauted "o" so may be Schaumloeffel.
51 Surname may be Huhner with an umlauted "u" then Huehner.
52 Name is obliterated by damage to original copy; however, the age and the use of
ditto marks for the place of origin and the destination probably connect it
to the previous passenger as a child.
53 There may be umlaut markings above the "o" in Bottiger so it may be Boettiger.
75 Muller has an umlauted "u" so may be Mueller.
86 Gender is overwritten--but since an occupation is listed it is proabably male.
120 Wellhofer has an umlauted "o" so may be Wellhoefer.
131 Note in far right column: May 16 Died.
134-135 Klu has an umlauted "u" so may be Klue.
137 Schafer has an umlauted "a" so may be Schaefer.
147-148 Schutt has an umlauted "u" so may be Schuett.
