Correspondence 03/07/2005 passengers Jorgensen
My mother, Frieda Jorgensen and I, were Turist passengers. We had left Tromso,
where I was born earlier that year, and were on our way to the Chicago area.
My father, Kristian Jorgen Jorgesen, was to leave Tromso and join us in the
summer of 1933, sailing from Bergen to NY. We eventally settled in Highland
Park, Illinois, some twenty five miles north of Chicago.
