I, O. H. Flor do solemnly, sincerely, and truly swear that the following List or Manifest of Passengers subscribed with my name, and now delivered by me to the Collector of the Customs for the District of NewYork, contains, to the best of my knowledge and belief, a just and true account of all the Passengers received on board the Ship Stephani whereof I am Master, from Hamburg.

Personal Notes
Passenger #29, David Hesseley (Haseley), is an ancestor of the transcriber's wife, 
Ruth Haseley Grose. David was unable to emigrate with his family earlier in 1843 due 
to a military obligation to the Prussian Kingdom. His family emigrated on the Brig Sir
Isaac Newton on October 30, 1843 (Volume 4). He joined his extended family in Niagara
County, New York where they were dairy and wheat farmers.
