Transcriber's Notes:

Transcription of this manifest was difficult because the writing was faint and the
recorder's formation of letters was not clear. Although transcribed with deliberate
care, the resulting names and ages should be viewed with some skepticism.

An asterisk (*) indicates either difficulty in deciphering the handwriting of the
manifest or something that the reader should note.

A question mark (?) indicates a letter or a number that can not be transcribed
  definitely.

The sex of passengers was recorded as "male" or "female" on the manifest but has been
shortened in this transcription to "M" or "F" for formatting reasons.

In the columns headed "Country of which they are citizens", "Native country" and
"Intended destination or location", the actual recorded entry of "U.S. of America"
was replaced by "U.S.A." for formatting reasons.

Passenger Notes:

162-163 No entry was recorded, or is visible, for the sex of these two passengers.
179 Age is very faint, but is possibly 20 or 30.
189-191 First letter of surname is definitely "K", followed by either "af" or "uf"
followed by letter which appear to be "aus" or "ans" or something similar.
Surname possibilities include "Kafaus", "Kufaus", "Kafans" and "Kufans".
191 Given name is uncertain.
192-193 Surname appears to be either "Diger" or "Digh".
193 Age is uncertain. Age may be 11 or ditto marks indicating 57, same as preceding
     passenger.
194-201 Surname appears to be either "Farmandria" or "Larmandria".
196-201 Obviously all of these were children and could not be Mrs. as indicated
     on the manifest.
208 Given name appears to be either "Jabus" or "Jalius".
209 Surname appears to be either "Guldbraudsen" or "Guldbrandsen".
212 Surname appears to be either "Mattson" or "Mallson".
217 Age has been overwritten and is not decipherable.
226 Surname is poorly written, but appears to be written as "Sofgren" or "Lofgren".
227-232 Surname starts with "H" or "K" followed by "ige" or "Kege", but last three or
four letters are hard to decipher. Surname is possibly "Kigelin", "Kegelin",
"Higelin" or "Hegelin" or something similar.
227 Age appears to be either 42 or 47.
239 Middle name recorded as "Sofia".
241-243 Surname appears to be either "Maltsson" or "Mattsson".
242-243 Ages are recorded as 1 year and 3 months.
246 Surname is poorly written, but might possibly be "Jormas", "Lormas" or "Sormas".
247 Given name completely unreadable.
248 Given name is a guess and surname is unreadable.
249 First letters of surname are "St" followed one or two undecipherable letters,
followed by "kan" or "kair" or something similar. Surname is possibly "Stukan"
     or "Stukair".
250 First letter of surname is either "F" or "T" but the remaining four or five
     letters are entirely undecipherable.
256-259 Only a single name was recorded for each of these passengers. Although the
first, Olivia, is a given name, the other three: "Peterson", "Bengmark" and
"Johansen" are usually surnames. Perhaps, since these passengers are visitors,
and even possibly part of the ship's crew given their Calling, the recorder
didn't bother to record their given names.
