I, John O'Brien, Master of the Sh. City of Mexico do solemnly, sincerely, and truly swear that the following List or Manifest, subscribed by me, and now delivered by me to the Collector of the Customs of the Collection District of the City of New York, is a full and perfect list of all the passengers taken on board the said vessel at Halifax, N.S. from which Port said vessel has now arrived; and that on said list is truly designated the age, sex, calling, country of citizenship, native country, intended destination or location, number of pieces of baggage, location of the compartment or space occupied, and the dates and causes of death of passengers, as required by the Passenger Act of 1882; also a true statement, so far as it can be ascertained, with reference to the intention of each alien passenger as to a projected sojourn in this country. Columns represent: given name and surname, age, sex, calling, the country of which they are citizens, native country, intended destination or location, number of pieces of baggage, location of compartment or space occupied, and whether visitors only or intending to be permanent settlers. No one died during the voyage so that column was omitted in this transcription.

transcribed definitely.
3 Initial of given name is not clealy written. Could possibly be a "G", "S" or
"J". Last two letters of surname are not clearly written. Surname is likely
"Moren" or "Moran".
4 Last two or three letters of surname are not clearly written. Surname is likely
"Morace", but could be "Moren" or "Moran", the same as passenger #3.
