LIST OF PASSENGERS

DISTRICT OF THE CITY OF NEW YORK - PORT OF NEW YORK
I, H. Rose, Master of the SS "Loch Tay", do solemnly, sincerely, and truly declare that the following List or Manifest, subscribed by me, and now delivered by me to the Collector of the Customs of the Collection District of the City of New York, is a full and perfect list of all the passengers taken on board the said vessel at Belize, Livingston, Kingston and Montego Bay from which Port the said vessel has now arrived; and that on said list is truly designated the age, sex, calling, country of citizenship, native country, intended destination or location, number of pieces of baggage, location of compartment or space occupied, and date and cause of death of passengers, as required by the Passenger Act of 1882; also a true statement, so far as it can be ascertained, with reference to the intention of each alien passenger as to a projected sojourn in this country. So help me God. (signed) H. Rose. Sworn to this June 27, 1884, before me. (signed) L. Hopper, Deputy Collector.
List or Manifest of ALL THE PASSENGERS taken on board the SS "Loch Tay" whereof H. Rose is Master, from Belize, Livingston, Kingston and Montego Bay, burthen 846 tons.
Columns represent: given name and surname, age, sex, calling, the country of which they are citizens, native country, intended destination or location, number of pieces of baggage and whether transient, in transit or intending a protracted sojourn. Since no one died during the voyage, that column was omitted in this transcription. The passengers were all berthed in "Cabins Amidships" so that column too was omitted in this transcription.

  Transcriber's Notes:

An asterisk (*) indicates either difficulty in deciphering the handwriting of the
manifest or something that the reader should note.

A question mark (?) indicates a letter or a number that can not be transcribed
    definitely.

The entry of "Great Britain" in the citizenship column was shortened to "Gt. Britain"
and the entry "U.S. of Am." in the destination column was shortened to "U.S.A." for
    formatting reasons.
