I, W^m H. Freeman, Master of the Schr Hattie E Dodge, do solemnly, sincerely, and truly swear that the following List or Manifest, subscribed by me, and now delivered by me to the Collector of the Customs of the Collection District of New York, is a full and perfect List of all the Passengers taken on board the said Schr at Barbadoes, from which Port the said Schr has now arrived; and that on said List is truly designated the age, the sex, and the occupation of each of said passengers, the part of the vessel occupied by each during the passage, the country to which each belongs, and also the country of which it is intended by each to become an inhabitant; and that said List or Manifest truly sets forth the number of said Passengers who have died on said Voyage, and the names and ages of those who died. List or Manifest of ALL THE PASSENGERS taken on board the Schr Hattie E. Dodge whereof W^m H Freeman is Master, from Barbadoes, burthen 193 80/100 tons.
Columns represent: given name and surname, age, sex, occupation, the country to which they severally belong, the country of which they intend to become inhabitants and part of the vessel occupied during the voyage. One passenger died during the voyage. The details are contained in the Transcriber's Notes below and this column is omitted in this transcription.

A question mark (?) indicates a letter or a number that can not be transcribed definitely. An asterisk (*) indicates either difficulty in deciphering the handwriting of the manifest or something in the Transcriber Notes to which the reader should refer. The transcriber numbered the passengers although they are not numbered in the original manifest. 5 Recorded in the column "Died on the voyage" is the name of passenger 5, "Elvin S Miller" indicating that this passenger died sometime during the voyage. The date, time and cause of death are not recorded in the manifest.
