SS Eagle
I, M.R. Greene, Master of the S.S. Eagle, do solemnly, sincerely, and truly swear that the following List or Manifest, subscribed by me, and now delivered by me to the Collector of the Customs of the Collection District of New York, is a full and perfect List of all the Passengers taken on board the said S.S. at Havana, from which Port the said vessel has now arrived; and that on said List is truly designated the age, the sex, and the occupation of each of said passengers, the part of the vessel occupied by each during the passage, the country to which each belongs, and also the country of which it is intended by each to become an inhabitant; and that said List or Manifest truly sets forth the number of said Passengers who have died on said Voyage and the names and ages of those who died. So help me God. (signed) M.R. Greene. Sworn to this Feb'y 6 1868, before me. (signed) ????????, D.C..

Transcriber's Notes:
A question mark (?) indicates a letter or a number that can not be transcribed definitely.
An asterisk (*) indicates either difficulty in deciphering the handwriting of the
manifest or something in the Transcriber Notes to which the reader should refer.
2 First letter of surname is either "H" or "St", resulting in possibly surnames
"Stillwell", "Stillnell", "Hillwell" or "Hillnell".
8 Fourth letter in surname appears to "n" with a small "e" above it. The meaning
is not known to the transcribers unless the "n" is actually "rr" and the "e" is
meant to be inserted between the "rr", resulting in surname of "Llarerena".
11 Surname appears to be either "Lang" or "Lung".
12 Ending of surname may be a flourish "ez" or "es" resulting in possible
surname "Fernandez" or "Fernandes".
