Transcriber's Notes:

A ? indicates a word or words that could not be read due to the quality of
the document. The notes on that passenger contains suggestions of what the
missing letter may be.

The number system has been changed. The original lister numbered the Steerage
passengers from 1-67 and started again at 1 for the cabin passengers. The
transcriber numbered consecutively.

Since no one was reported as having died on the voyage, this column was
eliminated from the list.

The tonnage as stated is difficult to read. Second number could be 1; the last
is indecipherable because of an ink blot.

9,13,15,64 In the age column, lister has placed an "a". Assume this to be "adult",
as he did for all of the Cabin Passengers.

3&4 The usual order in this list is First name, Last name, but this
entry seems to be one of the exceptions.
39 This name is cut off of copy. May possibly be Redmond. Jno. is definitely
the first name, second begins with R or B, 2nd & perhaps a 3rd letter are not
     readable, 4th letter could be "d" or "t", 5th appears to be "m", 6th & 7th
are unreadable, and last letter is probably a "d".
40&41 These appear to be husband and wife; however they are from different
     countries.
50&51 These two names may possibly be reversed: Doneto, Cardiello or Cardiello,
Doneto and Cummi? or Cuonni?, Cameroto or Carmeroto, Cummi? or Cuonni?. Last
     letter(s) could be "a" or "e".
53-55 This is case of lister placing surname first.
60 Surname could be Bradburn.
61 Surname possibly Hatson.
67 Occ. dittoed from above. She is undoubtedly a woman. Mistake by lister?
68 There appears to be a letter superscripted next to the M. Looks like "I".
68-120 (Cabin Passengers) have an "a" written the column for age and the
age has been shifted over one column. Do not know what the "a" signifies -
     perhaps Adult?
69&70 Surname possibilility: Bellettz.
83 Not sure if Austis is hyphenated with Godwin (Godwin-Austis) or is Austis
     his last name?
87 This entry appears at the bottom of the page and is entirely missing.
96 Surname could be Baines or Barnes.
112 Surname could possibly be Henrigues.
117 Surname: Watkins or Walkins, prob. Watkins.

National Archives and Records Administration, Film M237, Reel 411, List 97.
