I, S??? Master of the Marrianne Nottebohm do solemnly, sincerely and truly Swear that the following List or Manifest, subscribed by me, and now deliveredd by me to the Collector of the Customs of the Collection District of New York, is a full and perfect list of all the passengers taken on board of the said ship at Antwerp from which port said ship has now arrived; and that on said list is truly designated the age, the sex and the occupation of each of said passengers, the part of the vessel occupied by each during the passage, the country to which each belongs, and also the country of which it is intended by each to become an inhabitant; and that said List or Manifest truly sets forth the number of said passengers who have died on said voyage, and the names and ages of those who died. Ship Marianna Nottebohn. Lamb, Antwerp and Isle of Wright March 11
with mdse (merchandise) and passengers to Layton & Hurlbut.
March 18, was in sight of the Lizards;
23d. was in the lon. of 30. since then have had constant westerly and NW gales.
March 28, saw at a distance a schr. without sail rolling heavy in the trough
of the sea, apparently water logged and in a few minutes disappeared;
she sunk in the lat 39 40 lon. 72 27; saw a great number of bundles of lath.
Barbara and Gertrude Mollers, sisters, were from Hünningen/Huenningen, Belgium. Their final destination was St. Paul, Ramsey County, Minnesota. They followed their two brothers Hubert and Nicholas Mollers who immigrated in 1857. Hubert is the great great grandfather of the contributer.
