A Hagedorn, master of the Bark Franziska of Bremen, do solemnly swear to the best of my knowledge and belief that the annexed List subscribed with my name, contains a just Account or Report of all the Passengers who have been taken on board the said Bark, at Bremen or any other foreign port or at sea and brought in the said vessel into any District of the U. *  An asterisk * indicates an error on the part of the original recorder not
   the transcriber or is used to call your attention to additional information
   in the Notes below.

?  The ? indicates letters or words that cannot be read due to the quality of
   the original document.

*  The sworn statement, which is on a separate page, is dated 5 Feby 1849.  At
   the bottom of the manifest itself the captain dates his signature as 15 Dec
   1848.


Passenger Notes:

# 2 - Occupation Taylor is assumed to mean Tailor.
# 9-#10 - Surname appears to read Rorinn.
#12 - Occupation appears to read Ahotheker or could be Shotheker.
#13-#16 - Remarks column is bracketed for these four with 3 boxes and 1 cask.
      However as #16 also lists one box, it is possible that the end of the
      bracket was ended low to include this person by error.
#16 - Occupation Taylor is assumed to mean Tailor.
