Transcriber's Notes:
* The numbering system is that of the original lister and transcriber followed it.
* An asterisk indicates an error on the part of the original recorder, not
the transcriber, or is used to call your attention to additional information
in the transcriber's notes.
* A ? indicates letter or letters which could not be read because of the quality of
the document.
* Lister placed title before each. Transcriber changed for ease in
alphabetizing.
* It is interesting to note that Passenger 374 apparently was born on board and was
appropriately named "France".
6 Surname: Accent aigu over 1st "e".
7 Occ: Rentier in French would be an investor or one who lives from his/her
investments. Lister, who was French, listed English word if he knew it; other-
wise he listed the French. Perhaps in this case he made a wrong assumption?
9 Country to inhabit: Calif. crossed off and U.S. dittoed from above.
13-15 Country to inhabit: Calif. crossed off and U.S. dittoed from above.
17 Surname: Other possibilities: Raymond, Raymaud, Raymand. Occ: Engineer
Country to inhabit: Calif. crossed off and U.S. dittoed from above.

67 Surname: Possibly Chauat..
85 Country to inhabit: Calif. crossed off and U.S. dittoed from above.
100 Age: 22 or 32.
101 Country of Origin: Is this in error? Shoud it be same as Pass. 100, or is
100 in error? Age: Obscured by a line down copy.
102-105 Age: obscured by a line down copy.
106 Surname possibility: Schneid, Schnued.
110 Age: 22 or 32.
120 Surname possibility: Gasser.
121 Country to inhabit: Calif. crossed off and U.S. dittoed from above.
127 Age: Obcured by tear. Could possibly begin with "3".
