I, Tully Crosby do solemnly, sincerely, and truly swear that the following List or Manifest of Passengers, subscribed with my name, and now delivered by me to the Collector of the Customs for the District of New York, contains to the best of my knowledge and belief, a just and true account of all the Passengers received on board the Barque Arab whereof I am Master, from Hamburg. Passenger Notes: # 26 - Umlaut u in surname. # 32 - Umlaut o in surname. # 75 - Umlaut u in surname. # 94 - Surname not given. #128 - Umlaut u in surname. #131 - Umlaut o in surname. #136 - Umlaut o in maiden name. Personal Notes: Most of the passengers on this ship did not go to Wisconsin as listed in the manifest. They settled the town of Martinsville in Niagara County, New York. Many of the passengers were from the village of ipperwiese on the Oder River in Prussia near Stettin.
