I, O. Lachesnez Hendi Master of the S.S. St Laurent do solemnly, sincerely and truly swear that the following List or Manifest, suscribed by me, and now delivered by me to the Collector of the Customs of the Collection District of New York, is a full and perfect list of all the passengers taken on board of the said S.S. St Laurent at Havre from which port said has now arrived; and that on said list is truly designated the age, the sex, and the occupation of each of said passengers, the part of the vessel occupied by each during the passage, the country to which each belongs, and also the country of which it is intended by each to become an inhabitant; and that said List or Manifest truly sets forth the number of said passengers who have died on said voyage, and the names and ages of those who died. *In occupation column several passenger have what appears to be n/p.  It might
be 'not produced" as there was no occupation stated.  It is not a ditto as the
writer of this manifest used dittos where the information was to be duplicated.
However, in the occupation column n/p is written each time.

*towns - these are often misspelled from the present day spelling.  I have had
some excellent help from other transcribers of ISTG and we have done our best
to transcribe them.

21 Emmenden - probably either Emmen or Emmetten
22 Bruggen - in Sankt Gallen or Brugg
23 Engis - probably Engi in Glarus or Enges
24 Brunnadom - probably Brunnadem
26 Saint Gall or Gallen
28 & 29 Sivla - 
31 Epalinger - in Vaud
32-34 - probably Genoa
35 & 36 Chiavarri - probably Chiavari
39 Brittnow - probably Brittau
40 Deligsen - probably Delligsen
41 & 42 Lixton - probably Laxten
43 not readable, microfilm flaw
44-53 - could be Sillens
56-58 Emenbruke - probably Emmenbrücke
61 written as Büle - probable Bulle
66-68 - Pietranera  
70-72 appears to be Buenos Ayres, Brazil - added in another column is 
   Brazel seeming to try to correct the misspelling of previously written 
   Brasel
73-75 Pavillo - could be Pavullo
76-81 could be Granaiolo or Granitola
86-88 Uriea - probably Uria
89 Adincourt - probably Adaincourt 
90-93 Torilla - probably Toritta without the "t"s crossed.
95 maybe meant to be Chatteau ?

Passenger Notes
26 could be Hauschmann
39 could be Wachetni, W and a are clear.  Next letter could be a c, e, or s.
   Third letter could be a b, k or h, even a le.  Then the last two letters
   appear to be hi or tri.  Wacletri, Wachetri.
40 could be Hacbler, Haebler, Haekler, Haehler.  The first letter is H and 
   second letter a.  Third letter is written very small, could be s, e, or 
   c.  Fourth letter is an h, b or k.  Last three letters are ler.
43 cut off the copy
54 given name could be Barbe or Burbe
55 given name could be Gurin but writer appears to make "J" like a "G"
63 given name could be Urasire
66 given name coud be Eturine or even Haines
70-72 could be Carbone
76-81 could be Balsarini
88 could be Bunra
90-93 could be Costro, Castro
94 could be Rathan
