Transcriber's Notes:
 
The use of an asterisk "*" indicates comments noted below by the transcriber 
to explain details about the specific passenger and to note an omission or an
error made by the original recorder.
  
The use of a question mark "?" indicates a word or letters that could not be 
read due to the quality of the original document. 

 3: This lady's last name is really illegible due to the recorder's penmanship. 
    One might make a guess after viewing it under a magnifying glass and call
    it Denneman or Senneman but it would really be just a guess.
 6: The last portion of this man's last name is obscured due to the condition 
    of the original document and cannot be deciphered.
 8 & 33: Their occupations are transcribed as noted on the manifest: Taylor. 
14: The recorder did not make any further notations for female passengers 
    other then to note their names.
17: The recorder did not make any further notations for female passengers 
    other then to note their names.
20: The middle three letters in this name are illegible due to the recorder's
    penmanship.
22: The middle two or three letters are illegible due to the recorder's hand 
    writing. It could be Plmnell or Plumnell but it would be a guess at best. 
23: The first letter of their last name is illegible due to the recorder's 
    penmanship. 
25 & 26: The recorder did not make any further notations for female passengers
    other than to note their names.

10,11,12,15,23 & 27: Note that the original recorder didn't note individual 
    family members names only the man's name followed by & family or in the 
    case of No. 23, & wife.

 9-13 & 20-24: Notice they're listed as from Scania. According to the World 
    Book Encyclopedia Southern Sweden is called Skane, or Scania.
