Sworn to before me on this 14th of Nov 1833 by Capt. Halb?tt.
(Signed) Jesse Hunt, Mayor
Transcriber's Notes:
This is a City List.
Captain's name could be something like Halbett.
Passenger Notes:
#2-3 destination says United States for #2, and says ditto for #3;
not certain if that means they were also going to Ohio as #1 was,
or just means United States.
#16-55 for destination, is only dittoed, so possibly for Ohio, or just
means United States.
#31-33 pieces of the original are missing, cannot see any more of this.
#34 area damaged, cannot see missing letter, age possibly 16 or 26,
can only be certain of the 6.
#36 town spelled Heidstadt here, and Heinstadt for #46-55. Uncertain
if they are the same.
#42 area around surname damaged, but could be Pesseler or Pepseler,
or Tesseler or Tepseler, or something similar.
#46-55 town spelled Heinstadt here, and Heidstadt for #36. Uncertain
if they are the same.
#50 age could be 1, or perhaps 7.
#56 surname could be Schliefer or Schleifer.
#57 damaged area, cannot figure out the occupation.
#58 town area damaged, and destination possibly says United States,
so he could also be going to Missouri. Middle initial not discernible.
Town just says Burg.
#60-72 destination says United States for all these, so perhaps
meant to be dittoed for Natchez.
#67 first name probably Margrethe, but damaged area.
