I James Parrish* do solemnly, sincerely and truly swear that the following List or Manifest of Passengers subscribed with my name, and now delivered by me to the Collecter of Customs for the District of New-York, contains, to the best of my knowledge and belief, a just and true account of all the Passengers received on board the Schooner Leonora, whereof I am Master, from St.Bartholomews* So Help me God. Ja^s Parish*

* The signature attesting to the sworn statement is indecipherable; it is
followed by DC which indicates the Deputy Collector of Customs.
* Captain's name is spelled, by the DC, as Parrish; but signed as Parish.
* The column "Months" and the column "Died on the Voyage." have no entries and
are omitted.
* St Bartholomews is not a geographic name recognized by the 1984 Hammond
Atlas. However it is found on-line at:
http://www.hazegray.org/danfs/sail/ganges.htm
where it says: "She (the Ganges, 1799) then cruised the Caribbean from
Havana to Puerto Rico, St. Thomas, St. Kitts, St. Bartholomews, Santo
Domingo, Barbuda, and Jamaica." This may be the French island now
called St. Barthélemy.
