Correspondence added July 6, 2006 - FOUSECK
My great grandfather, Mathias Fouseck (Fousek) sailed on the Bark Leocadia
from Bremen to Baltimore. He was a mason and lived in Cleveland, Ohio.
Mathias died in 1917. I have tried to trace the family, but was not able to
trace Klizinetz.
Mathias Fousek was born 03 Feb. 1838 at #31 Kralova Lhota, Bohemia.
He died 22 Oct. 1917 at 3131 West 41st St., Cleveland, OH.
He joined the 14 Regt. 05 March 1859 as a musician and was placed on the
inactive list due to a wound (gunshot) in the upper right thigh.
Marie Marikova was born at #31 Lazista, Bohemia 18 Feb. 1838 and died
20 May,1907 at 3308 West 30th St., Cleveland, OH.
We visited the area and had the assistance of a researcher for the
above information. He did provide with information taking the family
back to around 1750.
Hope this helps.
Allen Fouseck
