Transcriber's Notes:

* An asterisk indicates further explanation at the end of the manifest.

? A question mark indicates a letter or letters that were indecipherable.

* The column for deaths has been omitted in this transcription since there
were no deaths on this journey.

* The original transcriber of this list uses "do" to indicate "ditto" marks,
but often he omits them (especially for a whole family); thus, it may be
that a blank may mean the entry would have been the same as the line above
   it.

Passenger Notes:

# 5 - Particulier may mean a private tutor/teacher. Country of origin
probably means Frankfurt am Main or Frankfurt/Main (Frankfurt on the Main
River) distinguishing it from the other Frankfurt on the Oder River.
#20 - Surname difficult to decipher, may be Stine
#21-#22 - Surname has an umlaut over the "u" Could also be written as
      Wuenscher
#27 - Last letter of surname may be an "m" thus name would be Hahm
#45 - Age of passenger does not jibe with the occupation--perhaps the age
      should be "36"
#80 - Gender does not match the given name, and then Fem. is entered in the
      occupation column.
#82 - Surname has an umlaut over the "u"
#84 - I believe the surname should be Dierkes here, but the writer has written
Do which is normally the usage for ditto, but everywhere else he has used
the word "do" for ditto. Also, the gender is overwritten-it is difficult
to determine if it should be male or female, but the following
information for an occupation seems to indicate that this is a male and
the given name may be Ignatius.
