Transcriber's notes:
* In the occupation column the Captain has written a ditto mark for
Merchant and under Professor of letters he has used ditto marks
for all of the List family including the children.
* In the 5th column for country of intent. I see Wintenberg. On
looking at an atlas it could be Winterberg, but have to remember
that this ship departed in 1825 and places could change and
writing could be different.
#11 There is a blot of ink over the letters between m and n. The
letter do not extend above of below the lines. Here again the
Captain has written the gentleman's name and put "of Phili?."
so am not exactly sure what he intended this to be. It looks
like he was abbreviating Philadelphia.
#12 Here again the Captain used a ditto in reference to Phili?
