I, L. Cooper, Master of the S. S. State of Georgia do solemnly, sincerely, and truly declare that the following List or Manifest, subscribed by me, and now delivered by me to the Collector of the Customs of the Collection District of New York, is a full and perfect List of all the Passengers taken on board of the said Steamship at Glasgow and Larne from which Ports said Steamship has now arrived; and that on the said List is truly designated the age, the sex, and the occupation of each of the said Passengers, the part of the vessel occupied by each during the passage, the country to which each belongs, and also the country of which it is intended by each to become an inhabitant; and that said List or Manifest truly sets forth the number of said Passengers who have died on said voyage, and the names and ages of those who have died. The country in which all passengers intend to become inhabitants is the USA,
so that column was eliminated.
The use of a ? indicates a word or letters that could not be read due to the
quality of the original document.
4-7 Mrs. H. D. F???e and family - All small letters. Could be Faine.
8 Mr. Francis T. T???s - All small letters. Looks like Terns or Tuns.
17 Mrs Milke B??lan - Small letters. Could be Berlan or Bulan.
21 Jacob Sch?ler - Could be u or i. There is also a tall mark like an l above
the line near the h, which may or may not be part of the name.
27 Christian A?nsld?s - First letter could be e or i, second letter could be u,
er, or ie.
