Transcriber's Notes:

A question mark (?) indicates indecipherable material.
An asterisk (*) indicates further information in these footnotes.
Geestemunde (Geestemünde) was the port serving Bremen. It was located at the mouth
(Munde) of the Geeste River--eventually the name was changed to Bremerhaven.
The writer of this manifest uses brackets to indicate families or groups
traveling together and coming from the same point of origin.
Variant spellings of place names have been retained as found in the original list.
The captain notes that there were 4 deaths and 4 births enroute, but he
  doesn't indicate which passengers died.

Passenger Notes:
1-5 Destination is quite blurred, but I believe it is Minnesota albeit
        spelled Minesota.
18-22 Surname may be Kiesow or Kissow.
24 Surname has an umlaut over the "u" so may be spelled Krueger.
27 Surname has an umlaut over the "o" so may be spelled Koerner.
40 Note between entry 40 and 41 indicating the birth of a child,
        see #133.
54 Note between entry 54 and 55 indicating indicating the birth of
        a child, see #134.
70 Note between entry 70 and 71 indicating indicating the birth of
        a child, see #132.
105-106 Surname has an umaut over the second "u" so may be spelled Bussenschuett.
121 Note between entry 121 and 122 indicating indicating the birth of
        a child, see #131.
128-129 Fifth letter of surname unclear. Name seems to be Bohusinsky,
        Bohutinsky, or Bohulinsky.
133 Gender identified as female but name indicates male.
