So help me God. H.Young.

Transcriber's Notes:
* The use of a * indicates an omission or error made by the original recorder.
? The use of a ? indicates a word or letters that could not be read, due to
quality of the original document.
* The intended destination of all the passengers was the United States of
America, and therefore that column was omitted from this transcription.
Also, no passenger was listed as having died during the voyage. The baggage
column was not filled in for the 1st Cabin passengers.
* The page created by National Archives Records Administration preceding the
manifest states that the ports of embarkation as Glasgow and Londonderry,
and later as Glasgow and Moville. It is possible the ship made stops at
both Londonderry and Moville after departing from Glasgow.
* The person recording the manifest abbreviated many of the passengers' names
and occupations. A few examples of the more commonly used abbreviations
include:
Andw for Andrew Leo & Len for Leonard
Bgt for Bridget Mgt for Margaret
Cath for Catherine Pat for Patrick
Dan & Dann for Daniel Rchd for Richard
Edw for Edward Rob & Robt for Robert
Elis for Elisabeth Sam for Samuel
Eliz for Elizabeth Thom for Thomas
Geo for George Wm for William
Isa for Isabel Sevt for servant
Jas for James SW for single woman
* The person recording the manifest regularly listed shared baggage with the
last person in the group.
Passenger Notes:
#195 - Biddy is a nickname for Bridget; very occasionally also for Elizabeth.
#216 - Louis Cooney's occupation is clearly written as "Leut". This might
possibly be for "Lieutenant."
#225 - John Boyle's sex is erroneously given as female.
#234 - Alex Brownlee's occupation is clearly written as "Leut". This might
possibly be for "Lieutenant".
#246 - Elisabeth McElrie's sex is erroneously given as male.
#276 - Dan McCall's sex is erroneously given as female.
#281 - Jessie is a nickname for Jennet, a very common Scottish girl's name.
#288 - Refer to note at #281.
#290 - This last member of the Kerrs family very unusually has no baggage
listed. It is possible this group is related to the Barbers which follow
and shared with them the 5 bags listed at #295 for Alex Barber.
#295 - The baggage listed for this passenger may possibly be shared with the
Kerrs group as well as with the Barbers.
#304 - Refer to note at #281.
#363 - The first letter of this passenger's surname is incomplete and cannot
be determined. What does appear suggests a capital letter. The remaining
letters are clearly "raik".
#364 - Refer to note at #363.
