Jacob arrived from Holland to Philadelphia on Sept. 1, 1736. He settled in Lancaster County, PA. It also should be noted another Jacob Hollinger came on the ship "Virginia Grace" landing Sept. 24, 1737. (manifest can be found at Virtuous Grace) Jacob was married at least twice and probably three times. He fathered 24 children, 14 sons, and 10 daughters. We have 5 generations of basically just family names for Jacob Hollinger. The fifth generation is Abram Hollinger who was born April 11, 1853 Upton, PA Franklin County and died Nov. 13, 1904 who married Clara Delila Shindle on Nov 2, 1875. They had five daughters, and from this point we have high percentage complete genealogy.
