AFFIDAVIT OF THE MASTER OR COMMANDING OFFICER,
OR FIRST OR SECOND OFFICER

I, Cap Ettore Zar, Master, of the "Presidente Wilson" from Trieste, do solemnly, sincerely, and truly swear that I have caused the surgeon of said vessel sailing therewith, or the surgeon employed by the owners thereof, to make a physical and mental examination of each and all of the aliens named in the foregoing Lists or Manifest Sheets, thirty in number, and that from the report of said surgeon and from my own investigation, I believe that no one of said aliens is of any of the classes excluded from admission into the United States by section three of the Immigration Act, and that also, according to the best of my knowledge and belief, the information in said Lists or Manifests concerning each of said aliens named therein is correct and true in every respect.

List or Manifest of Alien Passengers For The United States Immigration Officer At Port Of Arrival ALL ALIENS arriving at a port of continental United States from a foreign port or a port of the insular possessions of the United States, and all aliens arriving in a port of said insular possessions from a foreign port, a port of continental United States, or a port of another insular possession, in whatsoever class they travel, MUST be fully listed and the master or commanding officer of each vessel carrying such passengers must upon arrival deliver lists thereof to the immigration officer. Transcriber's Notes: 

* The initial filling out of the Passenger Manifest was done with a
  typewriter using all upper case (capital letters). Here, the transcriber
  has used lower case where appropriate for ease of reading.
* Additional notations were all handwritten except where a stamp was used. 
* Each question mark (?) indicates a letter that cannot be read due to 
  condition of the document or the original writing. 
* For columns 11, 13, and 33 the city or town is listed before the 
  country  or state for ease of reading.
* It can be assumed that for the 7 entries where a line is drawn through
  the entire entry, the passanger did not make the Atlantic crossing. 
  Either they boarded the ship and then left or they only booked the passage
  but did not board. 
* All passengers under 16 years of age have "UNDER 16" stamped in the Head  
  Tax Column except number 518 (Katz, Chaim; 15y), 524-526 (the Zlotopioro  
  nieces and nephew) and those with a line drawn through the entire entry.

Some passengers have numbers, such as 3-5611 or 5-612, written in the language coloumn.
