AFFIDAVIT OF THE MASTER OR COMMANDING OFFICER,
OR FIRST OR SECOND OFFICER

I, Cap Ettore Zar, Master, of the "Presidente Wilson" from Trieste, do solemnly, sincerely, and truly swear that I have caused the surgeon of said vessel sailing therewith, or the surgeon employed by the owners thereof, to make a physical and mental examination of each and all of the aliens named in the foregoing Lists or Manifest Sheets, thirty in number, and that from the report of said surgeon and from my own investigation, I believe that no one of said aliens is of any of the classes excluded from admission into the United States by section three of the Immigration Act, and that also, according to the best of my knowledge and belief, the information in said Lists or Manifests concerning each of said aliens named therein is correct and true in every respect.

Transcriber's Notes:

* Many numbers in the Passenger No. column are overstamped with 
  Admitted and overwritten with the lettrs S.I.-means Special 
  Inquiery and is usually followed by the stamp "Admitted". 
* Pasenger numbers have been assigned by ISTG.
* Passengers 344 to 347 - Column 12 - Victor Pyzanti was probably 
  male and therefore the listing as Aunt for these passengers is 
  incorrect-maybe he was their Uncle.
* The heights of Passengers 356 and 370 are both listed as greater 
  than 10'. This obviously is in error, but reported here as shown 
  in the manifest. It is noted in passing that for Passenger 370 his
  height of 10'8" is exactly double that of the Passenger 369 - i.e. 
  double 5'4" is 10'8". This is not the case for Passenger 356.
* the numbers 15/7 might refer to ISTG passenger numbers 353/345, but
  the relationaship is not clear. 
* 356 - occupation is listed as housewife even though she's listed 
  as single.

Reviewer's Note: 

All passengers have numbers, such as 5-2605 or 5-2605, written in the language coloumn. 
This means that they were tested for their reading ability. The first number represents a 
number for a certain language, the other numbers are a number for a certain sentence.
