* The numbering system employed is that of the transcriber and not of the lister.
  The original document consisted of two pages, each numbered 1-30. Lister used 
  these numbers and at times partially filled a page. Transcriber numbered  
  consecutively.
* Place of last residence: At bottom of manifest page: "The last country in which 
  alien resided with the intention of remaining as long as one year shall be the
  last permanent residence regardless of length of actual residence therein"
? A ? indicates letter or letters which could not be read because of the quality
  of the document. The parentheses is used to add comments of transcriber and to 
  clarify where necessary - they were not that of the lister himself.
* Passenger 548 begins the steerage passengers through to the end of the Manifest.

Passengers 903-906 are my family. Grandfather, Grandmother, Uncle and Father. This transcription
is dedicated to their memory, especially Julius who had the courage to bring his 
family to America and Amanda who had the courage to stay, after Julius' death in 1915, 
virtually five years to the date of their arrival in America. The family settled in 
McKeesport, Pa. and had an additional child, a daughter, Wilma Linnea, born in 1911. 
Some time following the death of Julius, Amanda opened a neighborhood grocery store, 
which specialized in Swedish food. She operated the store until the 1950's. Amanda
