Transcriber's Notes:
S.S. Wieland H. A. Pct. Cie - The abbreviations after the ship name possibly
stand for the Hamburg American Line. The "ie" after the C are raised.
No passengers died, so that column has been eliminated. In the column "Date
and Cause of Death" is written vertically: The numbers are Tweendeck & Saloon
and Cabin Rooms Sparr deck.
The capital I and J were sometimes difficult to figure out. The J in Josef
& Jessie were written differently from the J in Joseph and Julius. The I
in Isaac & Ignatz looked like the J in Josef.
All Passengers were listed as "alien ", so I have eliminated the "Transient
or Intransient" column.
All Passengers had U. St.(United States) as their "Intended Destination
or Location". That column has been eliminated.
? Passengers:
#13 to 19 - ?nowraclanv - letter could be I or J.
#20 to 22 - there is a big stain over the words making them difficult to read.
#47 - L?nger - name could be Lunger or Langer.
#56 - ?gler - name could be Igler or Zgler.
#74 & 75 - ?ewxlene - letter could be I or J. The x in ?ewxlene is very
faint; it could be an a.
* Passengers:
#88 - Dornberg - has a line over the o.
#91 - Country appears to be Afrika. There are 2 large check marks running
across the "f" and the "i".
