Transcriber's Notes:
The transcription I have states the ship carried 85 passengers. There are 39
named individuals on this list (line #25 cites two names) this leaves 36
additional persons indicated by family group reference - (spouses and
children).

The transcriber in Hamburg gives multiple locations in some instances. This
is likely her own attempt to place locations geographically for her readers,
and likely shows her uncertainty to which location a specific town belongs.

Correspondence received in September, 2007, from Friedbert Wisskirchen,
a researcher in the Eifel Region, has added more information about some particluar
areas which some of the immigrants were from.

Original material was transcribed by Eva Lembcke of Hamburg and found by her
in the "Allgemeine Auswanderer Zeitung", Volume 86, published 27 July 1852;
Her work was then re-published by Albert Blaha, Jr. in his book
Volume I Passenger Lists for Galveston 1850-1855. The complete volume is in
the SPJST Library, Archives, and Museum; 520 N. Main; Temple, Texas.
