Transcriber's Notes:
There are three passengers who's destination is written as "Provinces".
I believe that this alludes to the Maritime Provinces of Canada.
#6-#7-#8 There is no given name written for these passangers.
#19 The surname has been written over and I can't read it.
#22 A water spot blurred the first letter.
#31 The given name is an abbreviation I think but I am not sure what it
stands for.
#46 This letter is smudged and I have no guess as to what it is.
#56-57 There are only dashes in place of given names. The first letter
of the surname looks like an F but is slightly smudged and I can't
be sure.
#58 The question mark could be an i or a u.
#59 The name is smudged and I can't read it.
#63 This name is too faded to make it out.
#64 It is too faint to read.
#78 There is a fold here and it has blurred the writing.
#83 No given name for this child.
#125 There is no given name, age or sex for this child.
#136 I just can't make this letter out. I could be just about anything. It
looks a little like an A. But it is too faint to be sure. Might be an
F or a T also.
#140 There is no given name written for this passenger.
#162 No given name, age or sex given for this child.
#164 The Captain didn't seem to know how this surname was spelled so he gave
two different versions. The names were bracketed together.
#172 This name has been written over and I can't decipher it.
#192 This is an abbreviation and it looks like an M, with an l up in the air.
Or it could be an S.
#205 No given name written for this passenger.
#212 The Captain must not have been sure of the spelling on this name and
gave 3 different spellings. They are all enclosed with a bracket.
#217-218-219 Nothing is written for given names, ages or sex for these
three. The spelling is identical and there is no bracket around
them, as in previous cases. I am assuming they were children but
that is only my interpretation.
#223 No first name was given for this passenger.
