DISTRICT OF NEW YORK - PORT OF NEW YORK
I, George W Chapman do solemnly, sincerely and truly swear that the following List or Manifest of Passengers, subscribed with my name, and now delivered by me to the Collector or the Customs for the District of New York, contains to the best of my knowledge and belief, a just and true account of all the Passengers received on board the Ship Samoset whereof I am Master, from Bristol Sworn to this 12 Nov. 1851 So help me God. Before me Wm. M???? Geo. W Chapman

* #5,6,7,8,9 It is possible that this name could be spelled Stecy, or Hacy
* #11 Mercht is spelled this way it is not the typist.
