Transcriber's Notes:
The use of an * indicates a note from transcriber regarding passenger.
The use of a ? indicates a word or letters that could not be read due
to the quality of the original document.
There being no births or deaths on this voyage, the column was eliminated.
Country of origin and country of destination shown on this Manifest as US,
U States, and United States of America are shown in this list as USA.
Children who are less than a year old are shown #m, with the age being
shown in months.
Throughout this list the designation of Mercht, Merch, Mect, Mct all
stand for the occupation of Merchant.
the designation of Gent is a contraction of Gentleman.
For many passengers the occupation field was left blank by the original
writer of this manifest.
Passengers
1 given name Thos may be for Thomas.
7 surname might be Hall.
10 & 11 original transcriber could not decide spelling of surname
Candeny/Candney.
15 given name looks like Mln. but may be an abbreviation.
16 given name Fred'k may be Frederick.
18 surname looks like Hesquint or Hisquent, from Belgium.
40 given name Wm contraction for William.
43 Surname Fut?eye? missing letters do not extend above or below
lower case lines, missing letters could be i and r respectively,
perhaps Futieyer.
52 shown on list as #52 Cabin Passenger: not identified.
59 Surname scribed distinctly Chopperfield might actually be Copperfield.
61 Suranme Tookey might be Gookey.
71 & 72 Surname might be Ames.
73 Surname might be Carl.
80-87 Plainly scribed surname Gawthorn, might more likely be Hawthorn.
Passengers 91 - 185 the original writer failed to complete the sex column.
94, 111 given name Harriott might be Harriett.
119-121 Surname may be Steet, on the mainifest the last letter in the
name is above the line and line extends from the first t to cross the
last letter. However Steel seems more appropriate.
132 & 133 Surname appears to be Derriaz; all letters following the first
letter are lower case not above or below its lines, except for the last
letter which extends below the lower case line.
163 Given name Emma overstruck by entry for child in the same space
above this name, lends confusion as to the actual spelling of the name.
183 & 184 Surname could be Flatley
The following persons were crossed off the manifest, without explanation:
Christiana Brooks 23 - England USA
Martha Danig ? 22 - England USA
Isaac Richmond ? ?3 - England USA
