This was an extremely clear list and very neatly written. While I don't know what some of the occupation are and some of the town names are unfamiliar they are copied as they are seen. * There were no towns or countries listed for the final destinations of these passengers. They were taken to the Port of Baltimore. * Passengers Numbered 55, 56, 57,58, 125 and 181 all have umlats above the u in their names. Correspondence 1/22/02 passengers #65-73 Niessing I am a direct descendent of # 65, 66 (my great-great grandparents) and #73 (my great grandfather) on the manifest of the SS Mississippi, arrived Baltimore 6 July 1847. All of the group between and including those numbers are relatives about whom I have much information.
