The use of a ? indicates a letter or word that could not be read with certainty. See following notes for comments and "best guess." ** Swasey's signature is barely legible; it is followed on the next line with a word that looks like Munfum. * Ages were given in years except those followed by m for months. * There were no entries in the column Died on Voyage. Passenger notes: the spelling of many names is questionable. 1 Carl Volden - the Intended Country looks like American "Natuliard" which is repeated again opposite 23 K Honig and 45 Carl Zim?er. 13 Leo (or Lea) Kalken - sex looks like Woman overwritten Man. 14 Sal?? Wind - probably Salomon Wind. 16 ??si Wind - might be Jamsi, Jarsi, or Jansi Wind. 20 Br??ke Wind - probably Branke Wind. 22 ?ao Loofres - could be Uao, Vao, or Bao Loofres. 23 K?rse Honig - could be Norice, Korse, or Kersee Honig. There may be an unlaut over the o in Honig. Intended country American "Natuliard". 24 Sal??? Schrijver - probably Salomon or Solomon Schrijver. 25 Mary K??ver - might be Kwever or Kieuer. 27-29 Sophie Cl??et (and family) - might be Cluset or Clucet. 30 Joh. Eh??ias could be Ehorria, or Ehomia, with or without final s. 31 Jean Each - The Manifest lists him from Belgium and the rest of the Esch's from Holland. I think this was an error. 32 O??a Esch - might be Orena or even Anna Esch. 34 Ke?l Esch - could be Keil or Kul Esch. 35 Elis. Esch - age was unclear; could be 9, 59 or 69. 39-40 Louis and Sophie Dolamalwainn - end of name tapers off to uncertainty. 41 D?? Brys - looks like Desire. Brys could be spelled Brijs. 45 Carl Zim?er - sex looks like Wife and Man overwritten. Zim?er could be Zimier, Zirrier or even Zissier. Intended country may be American "Nataloid." 54 Leo? Diedericks - may be Leorsh Diedericks. 55-58 Sf??o - looks like Sfroo, could be Sleso. 59 Jor??? Reyne' - may be Joresch or Jorefels. 61 Albert ? Naillen - middle initial looks like VD. Short for van der? 70-77 Volkert Jorritman through And. Herig - the Part of the ship occupied looked like Streaage Bettdask..probably Storage or Steerage between decks. 78 Louis Pe??er - could be Louis Pepfer or Pepfrer. 81 Mrs. ? Lane - the initial may be F or T.
