There are places, listed below, where obviously female persons are described as male, and where ditto marks indicate that infant children have occupations such as tin plater worker. I have added a gender where none was indicated. I have not put the children down as having an occupation where this was indicated by ditto marks. If you get a hit on this list, have a look at the original to see if you agree with my characterizations. None died on the voyage so I have omitted this column which was present on the original manifest. 9 Undoubtedly means Andrew. This transcriber is not a careful speller. Later on in the list, he transcribes a husband's surname as Paul, and the wife's as Powell. 17 The letter following the first 'e' is likely a 't' or some other letter with a tall stroke. The rest looks like "ierts", but I cannot be certain. 18 Mary Ann is unlikely to be either Male or a Gentleman! 24 Probably misspelled James 46 Short for Bernard? 50 Can't tell if this is Pasgini or Pasgine. Also this is the only adult male on the list with no indication of occupation. 54 This entry was on a fold of the original document. It was very hard to read. It looks like Sorrow, but I can't really be sure 84 Polly W. Conny. I wondered at first if this were McConny, but others of his party are styled Conny, so I am presuming it is a W. with a very pronounced dot after the "W". Also under the occupation there is a ditto mark under the six names following the Sherriff John Addams. I hesitate to think that Polly Conny and his sons are all Sherriffs! 86 assigned gender obviously wrong 88 assigned gender may be incorrect 91 Probably an ill-formed "b" makes it appear as Lavourer
