Ship Henry Tuke


Liverpool, England to Boston, Massachusetts
23 October 1826

DISTRICT OF BOSTON AND CHARLESTOWN – PORT OF BOSTON
I, E. C. Bliss, do solemnly, sincerely, and truly swear, that the within REPORT and LIST, subscribed with my name, and now delivered by me to the Collector of the District of BOSTON and CHARLESTOWN, contains, to the best of my knowledge and belief, the names, age, sex, and occupation of all the passengers, together with the name of the country to which they severally belong, and that of which they intend to become inhabitants, which were on board the Ship Henry Tuke, whereof I am at present Master, at the time of her sailing from the port of Liverpool or which have at any time since been taken on board said vessel. And I do likewise swear, that all matters whatsoever, in said Report and List expressed, are, to the best of my knowledge and belief, just and true. SO HELP ME GOD. REPORT AND LIST of the passengers taken on board the Ship Henry Tuke of Boston whereof Bliss is master, burthen 365 tons and 71/95ths of a ton, bound from the port of Liverpool for Boston.
Columns represent: name, age, sex, occupation, country to which they belong, country to which they intend to become inhabitants. All the passengers were from England and all intended to become inhabitants of the United States, so those columns will be eliminated here.

Transcriber's Notes: 
Cannot see if any occupations were in the column for 
all passengers after #9.  Nothing was written and 
there do not seem to be ditto marks.  

  #4 surname something like Barth or Booth or Boith or Borth.  
 #19 surname could be Broadlock.
 #20 surname probably Grant.
 #22 surname looks like Stoft, but the S is not the same as 
     for the previous surname.  This one looks more like 
     the capital L.
 #24 first name could be Ann, but was marked male.
