I, B. Gleadell, Master of the Germanic do solemnly, sincerely and truly say that the following List or Manifest, subscribed by me, and now delivered by me to the collector of the Customs of the Collection District of the City of New York, is a full and perfect list of all the passengers taken on board the said vessel at Liverpool & Greenwich from which port said vessel has now arrived; and that on said list is truly designated the age, the sex, and the calling of each said passengers, the location of the compartment or space occupied by each during the passage, the country of citizenship of each, and the destination or location intended by each; and that said List or Manifest truly sets forth the number of said passengers who have died on said voyage, and the dates and causes of death, and the names and ages of those who died; also of the pieces of baggage of each; also a true statement so far as it can be ascertained, with reference to the intention of each alien passenger as to a progracted sojourn in this country, So help me God. List or Manifest of all the Passengers taken on board the Germanic, whereof B Gleadell is master, from Liverpool, burthen 5000 tons.

There were no deaths indicated, therefore that column is omitted from this list.

7,38,86,89 - Inft is probably an abbreviation for infant.
8,9 - Citizen is written in line 8 but probably belongs in line 9. In all other instances
where citizen is used, the country of which they are citizens is USA.
17,19,23,30,53,71,95 - Elbth is probably an abbreviation for Elisabeth.
51-57 - The last name might possibly be Pevis.
56 - The F in the Sex column might be an error but is clearly written.
72 - first number is unclear, might be a 3.
73, 75 - Cath is probably an abbreviation for Catherine.
92 - probably an abbreviation for Margaret or Marguerite
96-97 - A line drawn connecting these two passengers probably indicates that
they were traveling together.
99-103 - The last name might possible be Sillicome.
