Ship Emblem
I, Enoch Talbut, master of Ship Emblem do solemnly, sincerely, and truly affirm that the following List or Manifest, subscribed by me, and now delivered by me to the Collector of the Customs District of New York, is a full and perfect list of all the passengers taken on board of said Ship Emblem at Liverpool from which Port said Ship is now arrived; and that on said list is truly designated the name, age, sex and occupation of each during the passage, the country to which each belongs, and also the country to which it is intended by each to become an inhabitant,. Transcriber's Notes:
There were two colums that were left out because there was nothing
listed in them. They are Place of Nativity and Country to which they
belong and owe their allegience.
# 13 Joseph ??chin writing is to light to read.
# 14 Robt. ??ug writing is to light to read. No age was noted.
# 9, 27 no first name or gender was given for these infants.
# 33, 45, 66, 85, 117, 175,182, 185 no first name, age or gender was given
for these infants.
# 170,171 no age was given for these passengers.
# 31 The first letter of the occupation of Thomas Diggle is unreadable.
The specific destinations of all the passengers was not given. But some
were going to specific places. Brooklyn, NY, Buffalo, NY, Great
Berrington, Mass, New Haven, Ct, Ithicha, NY, Plymoth, Mass. There are
several Oxford's and Germantowns so there is no way of telling which one
they were going to.
