DISTRICT OF PHILADELPHIA - PORT OF PHILADELPHIA
I, Nathun Kinney, do solemnly, sincerely, and truly Sware* that the Report or Manifest subscribed with my name, and now delivered by me to the Collector of the District of Philadelphia contains, to the best of my knowledge and belief, a just and true account of all the Passengers which were on board the Schr Charles King at the time of her sailing from the port of St John, NB or which have been taken on board at any time since; that I am at present and have been during the voyage, master of the said vessel. And I do likewise Sware* that all matters whatsoever in the said Report or Manifest are, to the best of my knowledge and belief, just and true.

Report or Manifest of all the Passengers taken on board the Schooner Charles King whereof Nathan Kinney is Master, from St John,New Brunswick burthen one hundred twenty Tons and owned by J.D. McLaughlin and William Vaughn of St John NB and bound to Philadelphia.
Columns represent: Names, Age, Sex, Occupation, To what country belonging, Country of which it is their intention to become inhabitants, Number and Names of Passengers who have died on the voyage*.

The print copy is very   difficult to read because the film was so faint.  The original list is not   numbered; numbers were added for transcription. * "Sware" is as this was spelled on the manifest. * The column, "Number and Names of Passengers Who have died on the voyage",   contained the following information: "1 Box and Bedding" bracketed for the   McGees, "1 Chest" for passenger 5, "1 Chest and Tools" for passenger 6. * The word "Philadelphia " was on the first line of "Country of which it is   their intention to become inhabitants" and ditto for the all the rest of   the list.  * Passenger #6, surname could be "Carvan".
