Vera Cruz via Frontera* and Havana to New York
6 April 1891

DISTRICT OF NEW YORK - PORT OF NEW YORK
I, J. W. Reynolds Master of the Amer. SS Yucatan do solemnly and truly swear that the following list or Manifest, subscribed by me, and now delivered by me to the Collector of the Customs of the Collection District of the City of New York, is a full and perfect list of all the passengers taken on board and said vessel at Vera Cruz, Fronteral, and Havana from which port said vessel has now arrived; and that on said list is truly designated the age, sex, calling, country of citizenship, naive country, intended destination or location, number of pieces of baggage, location of compartment or space occupied, and date and cause of death of passengers, as required by the Passenger Act of 1882; also a true statement so far as it can be ascertained, with reference to the intention of each alien passenger as to a protracted sojourn in this county. List or Manifest Of All The Passengers taken on board the Ameri. SS Yucatan whereof J.W. Reynolds is Master, from Vera Cruz Progreso, Frontera, Campeche and Havana burthen 2317/39 tons.
Columns represent: Names, Age, Sex, Calling, The Country of which they are citizens, Native Country, intended Destination or location, Number of pieces of baggage, Location of compartment or space occupied. Specify whether forward, amidships or aft. From, Whether Visitors only, or intending to be permanent settlers.

* United States is abrevated to USA for spacing 
* In the death column the Captain marked through it
  and put From.
* The Stat behind the baggage numbers means that number was grouped with
  several people.
* #4 Petti? this letter is not fully showing on the manifest but looks
  like it may be a riased letter.
* #7 #8 #9 Mkr it is writtten this way.
* # 13 Franco the Co is written higher with a line under it.

* Although written Fronteral on manifest, I feel this port was probably Frontera, Yucatan.
